Leonardo’s Vineyard: Leonardo’s vineyard in Milan is one of the most fascinating places of the centre of Milan.
While Leonardo Da Vinci was in Milan working for the Last Supper at the court of Ludovico il Moro, the duke donated him a vineyard in the centre of Milan as a gift to the artist for his admirable works. The so-called Leonardo’s vineyard has been recently re-opened to the public and it is placed near Santa Maria delle Grazie.
Leonardo’s vineyard is an ancient vineyard where the master spent 18 years of his life. The vineyard has been rendered accessible to the public in recent times and its visit is a unique experience as it is the only one vineyard in the world of being in a city centre. A journey among history, art and nature to merge oneself in Leonardo’s world that in this place worked at the famous equestrian monument dedicated to Francesco Sforza
